Accolades
A well-respected leader in her industry, Heidi is the recipient of numerous awards including several from the Florida Association of Health Underwriters (FAHU) such as: FAHU Technology of the Year in 2008 and the FAHU Special Service Award in 2009. She also held the position of President of the Tampa Chapter from 2008-2009 and served as the FAHU Awards Chair from 2009-2011.
In November of 2010, Heidi was recognized by the prestigious Tampa Bay Business Journal as an “Up & Comer” in Tampa Bay while the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) acknowledged her accomplishments with the Leading Producer Round Table Award based on her business production in both 2011 and 2012.
Heidi’s myriad achievements and dedication are consistently substantiated by esteemed organizations. The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) has named her their 2012 recipient of the Quality Assurance Award.
With her B.S. in Business Administration-Management earned from California University of Pennsylvania, Heidi received her M.S. in Communications and Information Systems from Robert Morris University. Her commitment to continuing education and her active affiliation with professional trade associations has enabled Heidi to responsibly and reliably serve the best interests of her clients. It is the reason her business is almost solely referral-based.

Community
Being a contributing member of the community in which she lives is integral to Heidi’s life. As a member of the Krewe of Agustina, Heidi has participated in a variety of volunteer efforts. Giving back and doing things with a full heart has enriched her life and those of others in the organizations the Krewe of Agustina supports such as Paint your Heart Out Tampa, The Spring, Make a Wish Foundation, and more.
Heidi is an avid kayaker and a yoga enthusiast. She lives in picturesque Safety Harbor with her husband Justin and their beautiful one-year-old daughter, Hope. Devoted animal lovers, the Bushkos share their home with their dog Zoey and five birds.
