Following graduation from the University of West Virginia in 1978, Scott began to apply his natural abilities as a motivator (friends call both Scott and Scott’s dad, “Coach”) with his strong interpersonal skills and financial savvy to building a career in the insurance industry in Long Island, New York, where he grew up.
During his tenure as an agent for Mass Mutual, Northwestern Mutual Life and Guardian Life Insurance in the financial centers of the Northeast, Scott worked toward and was awarded the professional designation “LUTCF”, jointly conferred by the American College and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
Scott’s decades of training and experience were next recruited to Florida where he holds the position of CEO of Semak Insurance Services. Scott continues to bring his “Client First” attitude to assisting his clients in managing their financial risk and achieving security through long-term planning with, among other financial products, life and health insurance, employee benefits, disability income, long-term care and annuities.
